We, as fans of the National Basketball Association, urge the Obama Administration to encourage the Lakers to explore new coaching options. Coach Scott has, for years, created team environments and promoted play styles that encourage unwatchable basketball. This year, Scott has taken his incompetence to new heights, consistently benching the Lakers' two best prospects, Julius Randle and D'Angelo Russell. In the interest of preserving a competitive and entertaining league, we as basketball fans urge the White House to prompt the Lakers organization to move on from coach Scott.
