Urge members of Congress to collect salaries only while in office, with no pension payments when they leave office.

An idea suggested by a highly respected American financial expert: Legislators should arrange for their own retirement funding as other citizens do. Also, that legislators should participate in Social Security rather than a Congressional Retirement program. This program should be discontinued and all its funds moved immediately and permanently to Social Security.
