I am fully aware that passage of the LUMMA bill WILL NOT federally legalize marijuana. I am aware that other countries are making strides in research and development of new medicines derived from Hemp and Marijuana extracts.
I would like the United States of America to IMMEDIATELY remove Marijuana from the current listing of Schedule I narcotics, so that human clinical research can begin on our soil. I am aware that this testing can begin the instant Marijuana becomes a Schedule II narcotic as classified by the DEA.
I refuse to ignore this issue while so many American CHILDREN continue to suffer as a result of Epilepsy & Dravet Syndrome.
Please Mr. President, help our children live better lives, and make America a better country TODAY! Urge the House & Senate to Fast-Track LUMMA!
