I urge you to apply all possible diplomatic pressure to obtain the release of Sgt Andre Tahmooressi.
Sgt Andre Tahmooressi is being held on gun charges by Mexico as a result of entering inadvertently entering Mexico when he made a wrong turn in traffic.
Sgt Tahmooressi had no intention to enter Mexico least of all carrying weapons. However, the Mexican legal system is unforgiving and quite often unfair in its application.
