The Super Bowl is a pseudo-American holiday as millions of Americans gather together around the TV every year on that particular Sunday to watch the big game. The problem is that the game usually runs late, especially on the East coast, which creates a situation where a lot of people are less than 100% going into the following Monday, or they just outright call in sick. Employees that come in on Monday or don't come in in some cases are bad for the economy as a whole as overall production is lowered. By moving the game to Saturday (urging the NFL to do so) would give Americans another day to recover and potentially less absenteeism.
