Nickelodeon and Viacom have been hoarding the DVD release of the Adventures of Pete & Pete season three for over seven years. This is an injustice to mankind and prevents the public from achieving the American dream of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Between 1993 and 1996 Nickelodeon produced three seasons of The Adventures of Pete & Pete and in 2005 released seasons one and two on DVD. In 2006, the season three DVD was produced and packaged but never released to stores. According to show creator Will McRobb: "season three DVDs were actually pressed and are sitting in a warehouse."
The public is being denied a vital piece of American television history. Our children and our children's children deserve access to this important piece of history.
