We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

To Urge Obama Administration to Increase Share of Syrian Christians and Yazidis Among Syrian Refugees Allowed into U.S.

Created by G.L. on September 22, 2016

We urge the Obama Administration to cease discriminating against Syrian Christians and Yazidis, the acknowledged victims of genocide, in refugee resettlement in the U. S.; 1) by stopping settlement of all Syrian refugees in the U. S. until a process to settle a number of Christians and Yazidis equal to the percentages they represented in the pre-civil war Syrian population (10 % & nearly 1%, respectively) is accomplished, rather than their 0.5% and 0.15%, respectively, of Syrian refugees admitted in 2016, and 2) to continue to accept Syrian and Iraqi Christian and Yazidi refugees in numbers that, at a minimum, maintain their respective proportions of the pre-war Syrian and Iraqi populations among all future Syrian and Iraqi refugees settled in the U.S.
