Emilie Olsen, an Chinese American girl who was adopted by an Ohio family, committed a suicide in her own room just a few days ago. Amounts of Chinese were astounded by this event since many social media reports claimed that this girl killed herself may because of the involvement of racist bullies due to her Asian identity.
This is really a devastating and heartbreaking end for a thirteen -year-old kid. We really appreciate it if somebody could give a reply to Emilie's foster parents as well as Chinese public. Hope race discrimination will no longer exist.
