A constitutional republic like ours requires an informed electorate. An informed electorate benefits greatly when all candidates for President debate the issues vital to the future of the United States. Participating in debates organized by the corrupt front group ‘The Commission on Presidential Debates’ degrades our political process and denies the electorate information vital to making an informed decision in this Presidential election.
In contrast, the Free and Equal Debate 23 October 2012, has invited all Presidential candidates to participate in a free and equal debate, where the debate is not limited to only those candidates approved by the US media conglomerates. President Obama should show his commitment to the American people over these corrupt conglomerates.
