Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid had previously announced he was going to pursue filibuster reform in order to curb the rampant GOP obstructionism that was and continues to harm our country. He backed down after a supposed gentlemen's agreement with Republican Senator Mitch McConnell.
It has now become apparent that, while the GOP expects Senator Reid to fulfill his part of the bargain, they have no intention of fulfilling theirs, and their deliberate obstructionist agenda has continued unfettered.
Urge Harry Reid to return control of the Senate to the will of the people and to stop letting it be held hostage by a minority who have no interest in actually governing and would rather put politics and corporate interests ahead of American citizens.
