Encourage President Obama, to urge all states to pass laws regarding defamation and slander.
No American citizen deserves to abused and mistreated by anyone. All states and territories should have laws protecting their residents. Many suicides in our country have been attributed to unchecked verbal abuse and defamatory claims. We can help stop the problem. Defamation encompasses any statement that damages one’s reputation. There are, however, several different forms of defamation. Libel, for example, is defamation that is written or published. Slander is defamation that is orally conveyed. I believe passing laws in all states and territories will help to eliminate the unrest in our country. Please sign and help give all Americans the chance to have a better quality of life
