An ACTIVE Bald Eagle habitat is being destroyed in Manassas, VA. Concerned citizens have explored every known step to ensure procedures were taken regarding Fish & Wildlife Services related permitting. Proper mitigation guidelines have not been followed, no Eagle Take Permits have been issued. FWS is being investigated due to formal complaints from citizens. The Manassas Airport Eagles need help NOW, waiting for another investigation to be completed will be too late. The daily habits of this breeding pair and their offspring are altered drastically. This pair does not migrate; this nest is their home year-round. An additional 40+ acres of the immediate habitat is to be developed. Please stop the destruction and investigate the legality of these construction projects.
