This election is arguably one of the most pivotal elections in the history of the United States. We have an impending election in which both major party nominees have historically low favorability ratings/high unfavorability ratings. In such a situation, we are led to believe that we must vote for the "lesser of two evils." However, although we have a two-party system, other parties do exist. Unfortunately, voting for a third party is condemned as vote splitting. This doesn't have to be the case. In this election, with so much at stake, we MUST demand that ranked choice voting (RCV) be enacted and that the Electoral College be suspended.
