It is a grave tragedy when we hear about school shootings but all to often, very little is actually done to fixing our broken laws when it comes to fun control. The biggest tragedy would be simply to carry on as usual, ignoring the victims of such tragedies.
Gun violence is a problem. Someone should not be able to walk into a children's elementary school and start firing at people at random. Concealed guns should not be permitted in public places such as our malls, schools and other areas.
We need to stop thinking that guns keep us safe. They are weapons and I challenge this administration to actually do something this second term, to write legislation, making it illegal to carry concealed handguns in public places and harder for people too obtain. In the wrong hands, guns kill
