The US Army, Army Reserve and National Guard to get rid of the Specialist rank and make the pay grage of E4 Corporal to give young Soldiers more of an incentive to step up and accept more responsibility. With the cut down on troops in the near future the National Guard, Army, and Reserves Noncomissioned Officers will need the added assistance that the Corporals can provide.
