After we were attacked on 9/11/2001, I decided to enlist in the US Army for several reasons. One of the main reasons was the US Army's Loan Repayment Program. After being stationed in Vilseck, Germany with my family, I was a part of Task Force 1-63 Armor which deployed to Kirkuk, Iraq as a part of the Initial Assault in Operation Iraqi Freedom 1 (OIF1). When I redeployed to Germany, I served three more years as an enlisted soldier where all my MBA student loans were paid off (except past interest).
Why not develop a similar program where graduating students can "enlist" in an Education Army where Teachers are "deployed" to foreign (or domestic) lands where their student loans are paid off over a three year period?
