US based companies electing to outsource our jobs do so only with countries that honor our EPA and OSHA standards.

Our country is losing jobs to outsourcing at an alarming rate. It is only cheaper because these outsource countries do not value the environment, human right and consumer rights. If companies in China had to adhere to our EPA standards for manufacturing it would cost more to outsource. not to mention HR policy and consumer protection. These countries simply lack the infrastructure and centralized controls needed to manufacture at these scales. We could see the impact on China during the Olympics and it is only getting worse just because it is in China doesn't mean it wont impact us.
