Russia's current laws against the LGBT community are violations of human rights. Worse, their refusal to prosecute gangs openly and on video beating and berating LGBT people demonstrates the Russian view that LGBT people are not worthy of protection.
The US government has a duty to protect its citizens. LGBT people and their supporters are not safe in Russia.
We demand protection from our government and therefore, the 2014 Olympics should be boycotted by the USA unless and until the murderers and thugs in Russia are brought to justice.
