US-China joint Apollo-like Goal with NASA-like R&D program to achieve it that other counties can join

China has asked to build strategic trust between the US and Chinese militaries. Environmental Security is the most likely successful focus to build this trust. The most important long-range environmental security is climate change. Climate change is beginning now with 400 ppm of of CO2; hence 400 ppm is not sustainable as global warning impacts are already in evidence. Hence, we need to reduce to 350 ppm. Since the US and China are the largest emitters and have the largest economies they have the moral responsibility and the financial means to take the leadership to turn around around climate change. The cooperation of the US and China military forces and their R&D programs will give hope to the world of a more peaceful future.
