US citizens cannot vote unless they have paid into the tax system for at least 1 year in the past 10 years.

Created by C.L. on December 02, 2014

I think that as long as we allow those who do not provide/ produce anything except for dependents for US tax payers the ability to vote themselves additional goods we will forever overspend.

I say if any given person has not paid in for a solid year of income tax within the past 10 years then they do not have the right to vote.

Strictly being a US citizen does not mean one is educated in the facts beyond that of what is given to them by local news, or community organizers.

This would keep the checks in balances in place, and keep elected officials from staying in office strictly due to how much free stuff they can get their constituents.
