U.S. compensates Cameroonian family $1,700 after boy’s death by Samantha Power’s motorcade

Created by T.A. on June 30, 2016

Samantha Power's motorcade killed a 7 year old boy and the government of our Great Nation called America could compensate the family of the boy only $1,700! If that boy was American or from the western nation, would the family had been compensated only $1,700? Checkout the story http://www.newsweek.com/cameroon-us-compensates-family-boy-killed-samant...
Why are some lives valued more than others or is it because the family doesn't have anyone to fight their case? We as a nation are better than this.
My fellow Americans, wear the shoes of this little boy's parent and if you believe all lives should be treated fairly, then join me and sign this petition so that this family should be re-compensated.
Thank you
