US Department of Transportation should STOP the NY-NJ Port Authority "Toll Hikes" on bridges and tunnels.

Created by S.D. on December 05, 2013

On December 2'nd 2013 we had the third of five Port Authority toll increases passed since 2011.
Port Authority will increase toll to $15 for cash paying passenger cars on the George Washington Bridge!
Last year, Port Authority saw a 31% profit, causing many to question why the Port Authority couldn’t delay or cancel the toll hike all together?!
The AAA claims the increases violate a 1987 U.S. law regulating bridge tolls. The law applies to bridges that carry interstate commerce over “any of the navigable waters of the United States.”
Investigate where they're using our money!!
