There seem to be very few federal government sites where we can query information on ourselves. Please develop a site or system where citizens can check their tax filing status. Also, the website should have information on how much taxes we owe, how much we have paid, how much we paid in payroll taxes through out the year.
The focus of the site should begin with taxes but it would be interesting to query the places we have lived, jobs we have worked at or any other useful information that the government collects on us.
Web security is a certainly concern but the lack of accessible information is the more serious threat.
