This petition is to insure that the US Government never tries to take our 2nd Amendment rights away from the citizens of the US. That the government recognizes that this right extends to self defense, hunting, sports shooting and simple ownership for any legal reason to include keeping the government in check.
We wish to recognize that the UN has no right to curtail these rights in any way, to include exorbitant taxes or regulations that make it impossible for EVERY citizen to own and operate their firearms.
We demand that the government not only protect this right but champion the right by the citizens. remember this quote: "When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny" BY Thomas Jefferson, one of our founding fathers.
