U.S. Government is Demanding National Guardsmen Pay Back Their Bonuses

Created by J.S. on October 26, 2016

Ten years ago the U.S. needed men and women to enlist for the military. So the U.S. defense Department used bonuses as a way to lure those men and women to join the military. As of recently the department is demanding that over ten thousand men and women who served in Iraq and Afghanistan pay back their bonuses. The money belongs to those who were promised it. This issue affects all Americans because if the government is willing to take money from those who risked their lives for this country how can you not expect the government to not take money from an ordinary citizen. (This petition was not written on the behalf of an organization but from the heart of a concerned American.)
