We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

The US government needs to change water purification testing policy to test for pharmaceutical drugs and by-products.

Created by M.R. on September 21, 2016

In previous years as recent as 2008, the Associated Press has reported findings of pharmaceutical drug remnants and by-products in the drinking water of many cities throughout America. The reports indicate findings of ibuprofen, epilepsy medication, and sex hormones just to namea few. While these trace amounts are below an actual medical dosage, continual ingestion of these products is detrimental to the human body. This is not only damaging to us today but for the future generations and the longevity of our planet. I propose the government adjust their testing procedures to test for and eliminate these harmful additives from our what. The end state is for better drinking water and better quality of life.
