US government should express solidarity and concern against religious hatred against minorities in Sri Lanka

The Sinhalese Buddhist makes up 70% of Sri Lanka's 20M populations.Bodu Bala Sena, a Sinhalese Buddhist hardliners and a government ally Jathika Hela Urumaya in Sri Lanka propagating hatred against minorities, particularly Muslims.Increase attacks on both mosques and Muslim-owned businesses as well as on Christian churches and the clergy, also called for an abolishment of Halal certification.The groups organize and fund protests and violence, death threats, and intimidations against minorities.Minorities fear country is on verge of another imminent ethnic conflict.Yet, Sri Lankan gov. efforts and laws are not stopping these.We urge Pres. B.Obama and his administration to express solidarity and concern against religious hatred against minorities in Sri Lanka and demanding for a call to end.
