We strongly condemn the recent air strikes by Saudi Arabia and its allies which have killed and injured hundreds of Yemeni civilians including women and children. The death toll could rise to thousands if the attacks do not stop. These attacks are a violation of the sovereignty of Yemen, a violation of human rights of the Yemeni people, and a violation of international law. Support for these attacks on Yemen is unjustified and portrays the United States as a supporter and facilitator of attacks on civilians. The US must stop its support for dictators and allow the people of Yemen to decide their own future without foreign intervention. The US must stop its allies from attacking Yemen and support a peaceful solution.
