American companies maybe improving their competitiveness in the short term, they maybe effectively undermining Americans and their own competitiveness for the long haul. Bit by Bit, we're not just moving jobs overseas, but we may be transporting big blocks of our innovation infrastructure, the talent and technology that fueled our record setting growth and prosperity in the 1990's.
We cannot afford to to stand idly by while we face the loss of our innovation infrastructure, labor, capital, knowledge, technology, plants and with it the engines of job creation.
The offshoring of the intellectual property not only hurts our workers, but also threatens the backbone of our knowledge- based economy.
If we continue to point we loose our competitive advantage, where will our workers go next.
