The U.S to ratify the Basel Convention Treaty and to stop the export of harmful electronic waste to developing countries

The Basel Convention Treaty is a Treaty to stop the export of e-waste to developing countries. To this day, as you read this, e-waste is being shipped to places in Asia and Africa. The US is the only developed country that has not ratified the Treaty. It means that, all your old computers and phones, might be lying in a house in Asia or Africa. People around the world are affected from the toxins in the e-waste. We must stop this terrible export of e-waste to help the environment and the people.
