USASPENDING.GOV..Roll back the April Fool's Day changes and reveal the spending information once available to the public

Created by D.W. on April 08, 2015

On April 1, 2015, Office of Management and Budget rolled out changes to the website USASPENDING.GOV.

As a result, the detailed information on government spending is no longer available, and has been homogenized to just a high level view.
This has closed off the public to vital information about which companies, with which contracts, in which states, in which congressional districts, are performing what work at the behest of the government.
This should be a matter of public record. The former site was used by journalists, businessmen, non-profit organizations, etc., to track the flow of government dollars.

Secrecy and Obscurity should NOT be the goal of USASPENDING.GOV. It should be a site for watchdogs as well as view into government money well spent.
