I have applied twice for my wife to come to US on non-immigrant visa I-130. Our son was born in the Philippines and has US citizenship. I was denied on my first application by USCIS because I did not prove to them that I was not a threat to my wife. This is due to the fact that I have a criminal past. This is due to a law that was enacted in 2004 called the Adam Walsh Act. I have to prove that I am not a threat to my wife beyond a reasonable doubt. I filed another application in July 2012 with written testimony from two socila workers after verious sessions that I am not a danger to anyone. I may have had a criminal past, but that is it in my past. I only wish for the chance to have my family complete.
