Dear White House Team, Why there is a huge gap between USCIS and U.S.Consulate regarding Visa extension approval for Visa stamping in home country? Though our employer and attorneys submit a 100+ pages of petition documents to USCIS, submit additional documents on request (RFE) and get the Visa extension approvals in U.S., sometimes, we get a 221g form at the U.S.Consulate in home country (India in my case) saying more time needed for "Administrative Processing". That status with no additional documents requested seems totally unacceptable to me. The processing time of weeks/months without any transparency to applicants feel like we are 100 years behind. After a thorough verification by USCIS, Consulate may still have right to ask for documents but it should be a reasonable processing time
