We took an oath as voters to support and defend the Constitution of the United States, and we will support the Union against any who might act against it, even within our own state of residence or domicile.
We suggest that this wave of petitions was organized, not by citizens of the different states 'represented', but by a sick individual or small group, whose views do not represent those of the majority of Americans, even within any individual state. Accordingly, while we don't think it will go that far, we will support the use of any means to preserve the Union, including military force.
Finally, we support the imposition of full penalties at law upon anyone advocating the violent overthrow of the lawful government, or the unconstitutional dissolution of the United States of America.
