NASA has discovered hundreds of exoplanets. Many of those are possible earth like. By analysing the radio waves of the closest of these planets alien civilization might be detect. Moreover by sending out messages some other lifeforms may contact this planet. The Arecibo Message should be broadcast to Alpha Centari and then to other solar systems that are close by and have found to planets.
