use all of your power & resources to convince Congress to raise taxes on the top 2% and close corporate loopholes

Obama is right - raising taxes on the top 2% is not class warfare - it is math, plain and simple. Republicans are saying "we need to broaden the tax base" and "did you know 50%+ plus Americans don't pay taxes?" Well, those 50%+ Americans make less than $20,000 per year and/or are seniors living on social security, so they would rather tax the poor and elderly instead of the top 2%. We have lived under Bush tax cuts long enough to see that giving the "job creators" tax breaks does not create jobs - it just makes the rich richer. The President and Democrats in Congress need to start playing hardball like the Republicans have all along - no more backing down and giving concessions.
