use the Antiquities Act to protect and preserve the federal lands designated in proposed the Red Rocks Wilderness Act

Created by K.S. on May 21, 2014

Federal lands in Southeast Utah are under extreme threat from ranching, extractive industries, and a broad coalition of anti-federal, state politicians and self-interest groups. It's time for the President to use the Antiquities Act to set aside the lands proposed in the Red Rocks Wilderness Act (which comes to the floor annually, but never comes up for full vote), so as to protect these archeological and environmentally sensitive lands of national importance from increasing threats of those who would use this wilderness for economic exploitation and gain.
