There are many different ways of how voting is conducted around the world and the system we are currently using, Plurality Voting, happens to be one of the worst possible approaches (unless you like an oligarchy). So how is Approval Voting different than our current system, Plurality Voting? Well, you know at the top of the ballot where it says "Vote for one candidate"? If we use Approval Voting it would say, "Vote for one or more candidate". That's it! But this small change can have enormous consequences and facilitate the breaking-up of our two-party system.
