We know that criminals are not going follow the laws. So why restrict millions of law abiding citizens because a few bad apples? Instead, lets use common sense.
1st, we all have the right to vote. Did we not have to register to use this right? The same should be applied to guns. Require owners to register for a license to own a firearm.
2nd, how many people had to take Drivers education before getting a license? The same should be applied to guns
3rd, We must register our cars, the same should be applied to guns. Firearms should be titled and registered to provide a trace on a guns source. This should apply to all sales, private and gun shows alike.
We need to change the Wild West mentality of this nation to that of responsibility, and that will curb the violence we see today.
