Stop wasting billions of dollars on defense contracts to corporations to research and build new weapons technology the military will never use, or to build planes, ships, and other vehicles we do not need.
Instead use the money to increase the pay for enlisted soldiers. Give soldiers tax breaks. Guarantee soldiers will have the food, clothing, equipment, and weapons they need for successful training and missions. Use the money to help soldiers transition into the civilian work force by giving them training certificates that translate into real world qualifications for jobs.
