The people of the United States are not completely being represented when it comes to voting. Typically during president elections the way states place votes in the electoral college is by a winner take all method. For example, with this process if 51% of the state chooses republican then the state chooses to swing in that direction. However, there is a better way and only 2 states implement it, and it is called the district method. The district method is more representative of the people because it is based off of popular consent and gives districts the power.
With this method implemented in all states it would encourage more people to vote and place their opinions. If people choose not to vote eventually this country will not be able to help what it is designed to, the People.
