We have reached the threshold of fundamentally changing the biosphere, which will unquestionably make the world more violent and unstable and may endanger all of human life, in addition to causing the extinction of 30% to 50% of the world's species. The Obama Administration, through the EPA, has the authority to act to mitigate this perfectly foreseeable disaster. It is therefore its moral imperative to do so.
