We need to extend the Highway Trust Fund before it expires in the summer. The Summer time is when a lot of our highways and bridges are maintained due to the weather conditions.
We also need to work on highway infrastructure; To maintain our roads and bridges, and to expidite current work so that we can move towards rebuilding and maintaining bridges that might be in peril. There are not enough inspectors, and so these jobs should be created and should be reported back. There are too many roads that need help. So we need to act.
First: By Funding. Making sure Congress passes more funding...or by having the President put more money into your yearly budget!! Please get congress and your act together for the sake of our country's Transportation needs!!
