American politics is the most corrupt in the world. Primarily due to career politicians who put their own ideologies and special interest before that of the American People. The facts are, the longer a person serves, the more arrogant and corrupt they become and the less they pay attention to the will of the American people.
Our founding fathers never envisioned politics as a career. They intended for people to serve for a brief period of time and return to the private sector. It's much better for our nation as a whole to have fresh ideas and new enthusiasm every 6 to 8 years. We don't allow our highest office to be held for more than 8 years and we shouldn't allow our other elected officials to have a lifetime of politics either. It's time we set limits on these corrupt individuals.
