According to my health insurance provider, the Affordable Care Act mandates that health insurance companies cover birth control, but prohibits coverage of infertility treatments. Prior to the ACA "Obamacare", infertility treatments were a covered expense, but now they are out of pocket. Why do we help prevent couples from creating children, but not help those that want to create children and have difficulties doing so?
The law needs to be fixed or executive action needs to be used to fix it.
