In support of President Obama's request of Congress to ban assault weapons and high capacity magazines, we the people implore the president to exercise executive privilege rather than negotiate with Congress to ban the dangerous weapons and instruments of death from sale and ownership in the United States.
Our children's lives are not a bargaining chip, and we simply cannot afford to wait for Congress to do nothing.
The rights of our children to live outweighs the rights of any form of property ownership and steps must be taken immediately to preserve lives.
