Use an Executive Order to prevent politicians from signing pledges that compromise their ability to properly govern.

As our infrastructure crumbles, Republican politicians are handcuffed by their commitment to not raise taxes due to their pledge to Grover Norquist. Any politician who signs a pledge relinquishes their sworn duty to uphold the constitution to properly serve all the people. This allegiance to Mr. Norquist forces Republicans to take existing funds from programs like the Affordable Care Act and Social Security in order to find projects that are vital to Americans safety on our roads and our national security. Any politician who sacrifices their ability to properly govern is literally allowing themselves to be an enemy of the State.
