Use executive power to promote and enforce net neutrality, through FCC appointments or resignations.

Created by L.S. on September 22, 2011

Net neutrality is one of the bedrock principles of the Internet. It means that Internet Service Providers must treat all websites equally. They cannot make it easier load some websites, and more difficult to load others.

We ask the president to exercise the maximum power allowable in appointing or asking for resignations of any member of the FCC that is not willing to strongly advocate and enforce net neutrality.

Furthermore, the definition of the internet should include the net neutrality principal. Therefore any service mimicking the web without net neutrality, shall NOT be considered internet.
