If you have an all-American homemade apple pie and ten people have to share it but one person owns 9 slices and the rest have to split the one left over, it isn't fair to ration out their meager little piece of the pie. We need to conserve how we spend our "pie" but also hold those who benefit from having the majority morally responsible for contributing their fair share of the pie. A nation cannot be saved on the backs of slaves when there are kings who sit back & refuse to help.
