Use the extra funds created by going over the fiscal cliff to increase funding for manned space travel.

Created by B.T. on December 27, 2012

Going over the fiscal cliff will increase taxes and cut spending, creating more revenue for the government. We want the government to use this extra revenue for creating a new and exciting future for manned space travel by sending humans to the moon to begin establishing a permanent colony by 2020, and to build a manned spacecraft capable to traveling to the edge of the solar system and back in less than 5 years by the year 2050. This aggressive manned spaceflight schedule will create new jobs in engineering and manufacturing, and will help create new technologies beneficial not only for spaceflight, but also for life here on Earth.
